Sometimes ‘simple’ is best!
I’ve been using a new natural sweetener lately thanks to @sarah_bakian. I’ve seen her post multiple times about @betterbodyfoods Agave Nectar so I had to try it! And since I’m always a sucker for vanilla extract, I got some of that too! I’ve been cutting out all of the honey I use and replacing it with Agave now that I know it’s a lower glycemic sweetener! http://www.betterbodyfoods.com/
1 cup of fresh or frozen strawberries (if using fresh add a few ice cubes)
1/2 a frozen banana
50 grams of @dannonyogurt Light & Fit Vanilla Greek Yogurt
1tbsp @betterbodyfoods organic Agave Nectar
1tsp @betterbodyfoods organic pure Vanilla Extract
1/4tsp xanthan gum (stabilizer/thickener – optional)
Blend everything together in a blender & enjoy!
I use a Ninja Blender for all of my smoothies & I am extremely happy with it!
