Fun little breakfast that I made for Dylan! I used a little black food coloring on the frosted mini wheats for faces and then added some blue food coloring to the yogurt!
Best breakfast EVER – just look at that amazing ooey, gooey chocolate!
Mix the powdered peanut butter with the 1.5tbsp of water and spread onto a piece of bread. Layer with the sliced banana and then the dark chocolate chunks. Top with the remaining slice of bread and press in a Panini maker (or between to heated skillets) until the chocolate is melted and bubbling!
Mash the banana & peanut butter together in a bowl with a fork. Next add in the cacao powder, vanilla & stevia and stir until well combined. Finally mix the cooked quinoa into the banana mixture & enjoy!
This is currently the ONLY way that I can get my 4 year old to eat Quinoa, but it’s a start!

<Cinnamon Roll, Chocolate Chip & Vanilla Cake Batter>
1/2 a large avocado
1 whole egg
Mina Harissa can be purchased in 3 different flavors online here: http://www.farmtopeople.com/collections/mina-harissa I found mine at my local AJ’s Fine Foods.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Halve an avocado and use the side without the seed (wrap up the seed side with plastic wrap for later use). Place avocado in a small baking dish/ramekin to prevent it from falling over while cooking. Depending on how big your avocado is you may need to use a spoon to hollow out some more of the avocado to make room for the egg. Once the hole is big enough smear the inside of the avocado with 1tsp of Harissa and crack an egg into the hole. Top with some fresh ground pepper and bake for 15 minutes or until egg white is set. Toast bread right before egg is finished cooking!
1 whole wheat tortilla
2tbsp peanut butter
1 banana sliced very thin
1/4cup of cocoa krispies
<optional: 3 small strawberries>
Smear peanut butter on top of the tortilla. Next top the peanut butter with thin slices of banana and then the cocoa krispies. Roll tortilla up and cut into slices. Optional: Cut 3 small strawberries in half, lengthwise. Trim into a heart shape with a small paring knife and then attach to the top of the rolls with a broken in half toothpick!
These are the easiest things to make and my son loves them!
Pancake batter of choice
Mini Chocolate Chips
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix pancake batter according to package instructions and fold in a small handful of mini chocolate chips. Pour into a mini doughnut pan and bake for about 8-10 minutes!
